Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2026: Registration Steps and Key Dates

Gujarat NEET UG counselling 2026 has started for students seeking MBBS and BDS seats in the state. The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses, or ACPUGMEC, has opened online PIN purchase and registration for the 2026-27 academic year.

Students who qualified in NEET UG 2026 can apply through the official Gujarat counselling portal. The process covers medical and dental colleges across Gujarat, including Government Quota, Management Quota and NRI Quota seats.

Important Gujarat NEET UG counselling dates

  • Online PIN purchase: Open until August 12, 2026, at 12 noon
  • Online registration: Open until August 12, 2026, at 4 pm
  • Document verification: From August 3 to August 13, 2026, up to 4 pm

Students should not wait for the last day. A payment issue, slow website or missing document can delay the application. The counselling portal may also see heavy traffic near the deadline, as websites tend to become busy at the exact moment everyone remembers the same deadline.

Who can apply for Gujarat medical counselling?

Students who have qualified NEET UG 2026 and meet the eligibility rules set by ACPUGMEC can take part in the counselling process. Applicants should check the official information booklet and counselling notices for rules on domicile, category, quota and other requirements.

The counselling process is used for admissions to undergraduate medical and dental courses in Gujarat. ACPUGMEC will conduct admissions on the basis of merit through its online counselling system.

Gujarat NEET UG 2026 registration process

  1. Buy the online PIN: Visit the official ACPUGMEC counselling portal and purchase the online PIN within the stated deadline.
  2. Pay the required amount: The total payment is Rs 11,000. It includes a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1,000 and a refundable security deposit of Rs 10,000.
  3. Complete online registration: Enter personal details, NEET details, academic information and other required information in the application form.
  4. Check the form: Review every entry before submitting the form. Check your NEET roll number, contact details, category and uploaded information.
  5. Book a verification appointment: After registration, select a date and designated help centre for document verification.
  6. Print the registration slip: The slip will show the selected appointment date and help centre. Keep a copy for future use.
  7. Visit the help centre: Carry the required original documents and self-attested photocopies on the selected date.

Document verification at help centres

Students must submit self-attested photocopies of the required documents at the designated help centre. Carry the original documents too, as officials may need to check them during verification.

The exact document list can depend on the candidate’s category, quota and eligibility. Students should read the official ACPUGMEC notice and keep documents such as their NEET score details, academic certificates, identity proof, photographs, category certificate and domicile proof ready where applicable.

Do not sign or submit documents in a hurry. Match each photocopy with the details entered in the application form. If a certificate has an expiry date or needs a specific format, check that it meets the rules in the official notice.

Help centre timings

Designated help centres will operate during the following hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 10 am to 4 pm
  • Saturday: 10 am to 12 noon
  • Sunday and public holidays: Closed

Students should visit only the help centre and date selected during registration. Carry the registration slip, original documents and self-attested copies. Reaching early can help avoid long queues, especially close to the document verification deadline.

What happens after registration?

After registration and document verification, eligible candidates can take part in the further online counselling stages. These stages may include the publication of merit details, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting, as announced by ACPUGMEC.

Keep checking the official counselling portal for updates on merit lists, choice filling dates, seat allotment results, fee payment and reporting instructions. Students should use only official notices for deadlines and fee details, since counselling schedules can change.
