CUET Previous Year Question Papers: Download PDFs and Solutions

Exam prep can feel like wandering through a maze with no map. That's exactly where CUET previous year question papers come in. They act as your map, showing you exactly what to expect on exam day, so you stop guessing and start preparing with a plan.

Why Previous Year Papers Actually Work

Here's a fun fact: 75% of CUET toppers say practicing the last three years of papers helped them score higher. That's not a coincidence. When you solve old papers, you start to see patterns. You spot which topics show up again and again, and which chapters you can skim through without much worry.

The numbers back this up too. Students who solve three or more papers every week have a 15-20% better chance of scoring high compared to those who skip this step. And if you attempt just 10 previous year papers, your speed can go up by 30% while silly mistakes drop by 25%. That's a solid return for a few hours of practice.

What You Get With CUET 2026 Papers

CUET 2026 covered a massive amount of ground. There were 32 unique question papers with 18,160 questions, and when you count every language version, that number jumps to 996 total papers and 55,055 questions. The exam ran across 19 days and 35 shifts, covering subjects from English and Business Studies to Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accountancy, and General Aptitude.

Each shift, from June 7 all the way back to May 11, has its own set of papers and solutions. Whether you sat for the June 6 Shift 1 Chemistry paper or you're curious about the May 21 Shift 1 Political Science paper, there's a download link waiting for you. No need to hunt across ten different websites and lose your patience along the way.

Older Papers Matter Too

Don't stop at 2026. The CUET 2025 papers with answer keys cover subjects like Sociology, Sanskrit, Psychology, Physics, Home Science, and Agriculture. Go back further to CUET 2024, and you'll find Mathematics, Chemistry, English, Physics, and Economics papers, each split into multiple sets (A, B, C, D) so you get a broader range of question styles.

If you want to go deeper, CUET 2023 and CUET 2022 papers are also available, including regional language papers like Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu. Practicing across years helps you notice how question difficulty shifts and how the paper pattern has evolved.

Practice by Subject, Not Just by Year

Sometimes you don't need an entire paper. You just need to drill one weak subject. That's where subject-wise practice questions help. For Accountancy, you might work through questions on capital versus revenue expenditure or the straight-line depreciation method. For Physics, expect questions on Newton's laws, the Doppler effect, or the photoelectric effect. Chemistry papers often test hybridization, pH calculations, and reaction mechanisms.

If you're aiming for a BA in English, History, or Political Science, previous papers often include questions on literary devices in Shakespeare, the causes of the French Revolution, or the principles of democracy. Sociology and Psychology students can expect questions on social stratification, Piaget's stages of development, or classical conditioning.

How to Actually Use These Papers

Downloading a PDF and letting it sit in your downloads folder does nothing. Here's a simple way to use these papers properly:

  • Pick a paper and set a timer, just like the real exam.
  • Attempt it without checking the solution first.
  • Compare your answers with the solution PDF and note where you went wrong.
  • Repeat with a new paper the next day, focusing more on your weak subjects.

This cycle of practice, check, and correct is what actually moves your score. Reading solutions without attempting the paper first is like reading a recipe without ever turning on the stove.

A Quick Word on Exam Pattern

For CUET UG, you need to attempt 40 out of 50 questions in each subject, and 50 out of 60 in the General Test. You get the freedom to skip 10 questions per subject, so there's some room to avoid topics you're unsure about. Each correct answer usually adds marks, while an incorrect one deducts a mark, so guessing blindly isn't the best strategy. Previous year papers are the best way to get comfortable with this pattern before the real exam.

Whether you're aiming for Delhi University, BHU, or a private college, spending time with these papers gives you a clear sense of what's coming. And once the pattern feels familiar, exam day starts to feel a lot less scary.
