CUET PG Result 2026: When and How to Check Your Scorecard on NTA Website

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the Common University Entrance Test Post Graduate (CUET PG) result 2026 today. If you appeared for this exam, you can check your result on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in, using your application number and password.

The computer-based CUET PG 2026 result date was announced by the NTA on April 22. Your result PDF will contain your name, roll number, subjects you appeared in, marks you obtained, percentile or score, and qualifying details.

What Time Will CUET PG Results Come Out?

As per NTA's update, CUET PG results 2026 will be declared around 5 pm. The results will be based on the final answer keys, after evaluating all challenges raised by candidates. The CUET PG 2026 answer key challenge window was open till April 14.

A total of 198 universities will admit students based on their CUET PG 2026 scores. Central, state, government institutions or fully funded, deemed or private universities will give admission to students as per their own set of eligibility criteria.

Understanding the Marking Scheme

You should know how the marks are calculated. For each correct answer, you will get four marks. For each wrong response, one mark will be deducted. The good news is that no marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.

Students must score at least 45% marks to qualify for the CUET PG exam 2026.

Which Universities Accept CUET PG Scores?

Around 45 central universities, including University of Delhi, Jamia Millia Islamia, and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will admit students based on their CUET PG 2026 scores.

Around 40 state universities, including Delhi Technological University, Dr BR Ambedkar University Delhi, and Gurugram University will participate in the CUET PG 2026 counselling for PG admissions.

Important Points About University Admissions

Each participating university has its own set of eligibility criteria for admission to PG courses. You should satisfy yourself before applying that you possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the university you are applying to.

Universities will conduct their individual counselling based on the score card of CUET PG 2026 provided by NTA.

There is no age limit for candidates appearing in the CUET PG 2026 examination. However, you are advised to verify the age requirements of the university to which you wish to apply before submitting your applications.

What Happens After Results Are Announced?

After the CUET PG results 2026 are announced, participating universities will initiate the CUET PG 2026 counselling process. You will have to submit your institutional and programme preferences. Based on these preferences, the respective universities will publish admission and merit lists.

Those who secure a place must complete the seat booking by paying the requisite fee to confirm their admission.

The CUET PG 2026 registration began on December 14, 2025 and ended on January 14, 2026. The college admission CUET PG exam was held from March 6 to March 27, 2026.

The exam tested candidates on 157 subjects across various disciplines. The computer-based test was conducted in multiple sessions across various cities in India.
