CBSE Class 10 Second Board Exam Result 2026: Check Steps Here

If you sat for the CBSE Class 10 second board exams this year, you are probably refreshing the results page every five minutes right now. We get it. That little spinning wheel on your phone screen feels like it takes forever when your marks are on the other side of it.

Here is everything you need to know about the CBSE Class 10 second board exam result 2026, without the wait feeling any longer than it needs to.

When Will the Result Come Out?

CBSE has not announced an exact date or time yet. Based on how the board has handled this in past years, the result should land soon after the answer key process wraps up. Keep this page bookmarked, or better yet, set a reminder so you are not stuck refreshing all day.

Where to Check Your Result

You can access your marksheet on any of these official websites:

  • results.digilocker.gov.in
  • cbse.gov.in
  • cbseresults.nic.in
  • results.cbse.nic.in
  • DigiLocker app
  • UMANG app

Pick whichever one loads fastest for you. All of them show the same result, so there is no need to check every single one (though we know some of you will anyway).

What You Need to Log In

Keep these details ready before the result goes live:

  • Roll number
  • Admit card ID
  • School name
  • Mother's name

Type these in carefully. A single typo in your mother's name and the system will act like it has never heard of you.

How to Check on the UMANG App

  1. Download UMANG from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store
  2. Sign in with your registered mobile number
  3. Go to the Education section
  4. Select CBSE Services, then tap on CBSE Class 10 Result 2026
  5. Enter your login details
  6. Submit and view your result
  7. Download the marksheet and save it somewhere safe

Passing Marks: What You Need to Clear

You need at least 33% marks in each subject to pass. This applies to both theory and practical or internal assessment components, wherever they exist. So if you scraped through with exactly 33%, congratulations, you passed. No extra credit for style points.

What Your Marksheet Will Show

Once you download it, your marksheet will include:

  • Your name and roll number
  • Date of birth
  • Parents' names
  • School name
  • Subject-wise marks and grades
  • Total marks
  • Pass or fail status

The Best-of-Two Policy

Here is the part that should calm your nerves a bit. If you appeared for both the first and second board exams, CBSE will consider your higher score for the final result. So even if the second attempt did not go as planned, your first attempt marks still count if they were better.

Steps to Download Your Result from CBSE's Website

  1. Go to cbse.gov.in
  2. Scroll down and click on the "Results" section
  3. A new window will open
  4. Click on "CBSE Class 10 Second Board Exam Results 2026"
  5. Another window will open
  6. Enter your roll number, school number, admit card ID, and mother's name
  7. Hit submit
  8. Your marksheet will appear on screen
  9. Check your marks and download the result

Checking Results Through IVRS

No internet or website acting up on you? You can also get your marks over the phone.

Whatever your score turns out to be, remember that one exam does not decide your entire future. Take a breath, check your result calmly, and figure out your next steps once the numbers are in front of you.
