AP EAMCET 2026 Counselling Schedule and Registration Details

If you wrote AP EAMCET 2026, here's some good news. The counselling process is about to kick off, and APSCHE is expected to release the full schedule any day now. Grab a cup of coffee (or chai, we don't judge) and let's walk through everything you need to know.

When Does Counselling Start?

APSCHE plans to open Phase 1 registration around July 15, 2026. This comes right after the AP EAMCET results were announced on July 1. Once the schedule goes live on cets.apsche.ap.gov.in, you can start the registration process online.

Keep that website bookmarked. You'll be visiting it a lot over the next few weeks.

Fees Just Went Up a Bit

Here's something worth noting before you plan your budget. The minimum annual tuition fee across nearly 140 engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh has moved up from INR 40,000 to INR 47,000 for the 2026-27 academic year. Not a huge jump, but every rupee counts when you're a student.

On top of that, you'll need to pay a processing fee to register on the counselling portal:

  • INR 1,200 for OC and EWS candidates
  • INR 800 for BC candidates
  • INR 600 for SC/ST candidates

This fee is non-refundable, so double-check your category before you pay.

How the Counselling Process Works

The AP EAMCET counselling isn't just one step. It's a series of stages, and missing even one can cost you a seat. Here's the breakdown:

  1. Login and Pay: Use your EAPCET hall ticket number and date of birth to log into the APSCHE portal and pay the required fee.
  2. Document Verification: This happens either online or in person at designated Help Line Centres (HLCs). Don't skip this step, it's mandatory.
  3. Choice Filling: This is where you list your preferred colleges and branches in order of priority. Take your time here, this list decides your future campus.
  4. Seat Allotment: Seats get distributed based on your rank, category, and seat availability.
  5. Confirm Admission: Accept your allotted seat online, then report to the college in person to lock in your spot.

Documents You'll Need

Before verification day arrives, get your paperwork sorted. Trust us, running around for a missing certificate on the last day is not fun. Here's your checklist:

  • AP EAPCET 2026 rank card and hall ticket
  • SSC (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) marks memos
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) and study certificates from Class 6 to Intermediate
  • Aadhaar card and residence certificate
  • Valid Integrated Community Certificate (for BC/SC/ST candidates)
  • Income certificate or white ration card issued on or after January 1, 2021 (for fee reimbursement)
  • Valid EWS certificate from MeeSeva, if applicable

Keep both originals and photocopies ready. Some centres ask for extra sets, so it helps to carry more than you think you'll need.

A Few Tips Before You Begin

Choice filling is the part most students stress about. A good rule of thumb: list colleges based on your genuine preference, not just rank cutoffs from last year. Cutoffs shift every year, sometimes by a good margin, so use them as a guide and not a guarantee.

Also, keep an eye on official notifications rather than relying only on rumours doing rounds on WhatsApp groups. APSCHE updates its portal regularly, and that's the safest place to check dates and rules.

Counselling season can feel overwhelming, but if you stay organised with your documents and deadlines, the process becomes a lot smoother. One step at a time, and you'll be sorted.
