What happens after the merit list?

Allocation to organisations such as AP TRANSCO, APGENCO and APSPDCL will depend on merit rank and the preferences submitted by candidates. A higher rank may give a candidate a better chance of receiving a preferred organisation, subject to the available vacancies and recruitment rules.

Selected candidates must serve a minimum of five years on probation, followed by two years of regular service. They must also sign a mandatory seven-year bond on non-judicial stamp paper worth Rs 110.
