What to Do After AIAPGET Result 2026: Counselling, Documents & Next Steps

Hello AYUSH aspirants! I'm Runal Naik from AcademyCheck. The AIAPGET 2026 scorecard is the starting point for MD/MS admission in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy; it is not a seat allotment. The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the scorecard on 18 September 2026. Use the steps below to move from result checking to counselling and college reporting. The AACCC PG counselling page still shows “Coming soon”, and the PG schedule page says “No Documents found”. Registration, choice-filling and reporting dates have therefore not yet been published; follow the route-specific steps below once the competent authority officially opens the window.

What should you do immediately after the result?

1. Download the scorecard: Save the PDF, keep a backup and print clear copies.

2. Verify your details: Check your name, application number, stream, category, marks and percentile.

3. Identify your counselling route: Check whether your preferred seats come under AACCC, a state/UT authority, or both.

4. Prepare documents: Keep originals, scans and photocopies ready before registration begins.

5. Track official notices: Note the registration, payment, choice-filling, allotment and reporting deadlines published by your counselling authority.

Choose the correct AIAPGET counselling portal

Use the authority and quota that match the seat you want. This authority status is a source boundary, not an allotment date.

• AACCC route: Open the AACCC PG portal and its current bulletin for the covered All India Quota, central-university, national-institute and deemed-university seats listed there. The 2026-27 registration and choice-filling dates were not published on the checked pages.

• State/UT route: Use the relevant state authority for state-quota seats and other seats assigned to that process. The AACCC counselling explanation says the respective state/UT authority handles AIQ seats in private AYUSH institutes.

• If both apply: Complete separate registrations, payments and choice lists wherever you are eligible. A valid NTA scorecard does not replace either counselling registration.

Before registering: Find the exact college, course, quota and seat in the current 2026-27 seat matrix. Do not rely on an old schedule or use a coaching website as the registration portal. Keep the “Coming soon” and “No Documents found” status attached to the relevant authority until an official notice changes it.

Documents to prepare for AIAPGET counselling

Keep these ready, but follow the final 2026-27 notice issued by your counselling authority:

• AIAPGET 2026 scorecard, admit card and application details.

• Government photo ID and recent photographs.

• Undergraduate degree or provisional certificate and marksheets.

• Internship completion proof and professional registration certificate, where applicable.

• Valid category, EWS, PwBD, domicile or quota certificate, if claiming that benefit.

• Any undertaking, allotment letter or institute-specific document listed in the current notice.

Before uploading: Match your name and date of birth across the scorecard, ID and academic records. Use the help option on the official AIAPGET page for an NTA-record issue, and contact the relevant counselling authority for state eligibility or document-format questions.

Once counselling opens: registration and choice filling

1. Open the official portal after the window is live: Read the current 2026-27 bulletin and schedule before starting.

2. Create your registration: Enter the required AIAPGET and personal details carefully.

3. Verify and upload: Recheck every entry and upload the documents in the required format.

4. Pay the applicable charges: AACCC lists a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable security deposit. Check the current amount and forfeiture rules before paying; tuition, hostel and institute deposits are separate.

5. Add college-course choices: Select only the seats you would genuinely accept.

6. Arrange the order: Place choices in your true preference order, not according to which seat seems easier to obtain.

7. Lock and save: Submit or lock choices before the deadline, download the confirmation and keep the payment receipt.

Check these details before adding a college

• MD/MS stream and specialisation.

• Seat type, quota and category eligibility.

• Annual tuition, hostel cost and other institute charges.

• Stipend, bond or service obligation.

• Location, reporting requirements and hospital training exposure.

• Current permission and seat count in the published seat matrix. For example, the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur lists MD/MS Ayurveda programmes, but you must still verify the course and seat in the current counselling matrix.

What should you do after seat allotment?

1. Open the official result: Check your name or roll number, course, college, quota and reporting window.

2. Read the round rules: Confirm the process for accepting, joining, upgrading or declining the seat.

3. Download proof: Save the allotment letter, payment receipts and every portal acknowledgement.

4. Contact the allotted college: Use its official contact details to confirm originals, copies, fees and reporting time.

5. Report before the deadline: Carry the required documents and complete the institute process on time.

If no seat is allotted: Check the next official round, revised vacancies, fresh-choice requirements and security-deposit rules. Do not assume the previous round's rules will remain unchanged.

What if I am not allotted a seat in the first round?

Check revised vacancies and the official next-round rules for registration, choice filling, earlier-seat protection and the security deposit.
